System

How does the Eyrus Worksite Management Platform work?

  • Depending on your project and your workforce data goals, the Eyrus solution is configured to suit your needs. It’s very flexible, but, in summary, everyone gets an Eyrus wearable and workforce data is collected from the site with Eyrus Readers, or through our app.
  • The Eyrus platform itself is incredibly robust with configurable tables to create reports, and includes integrations with Procore, Autodesk, and Oracle.

How do Readers work?

With the Readers, you can collect data automatically, or through access points like turnstiles, vehicle gates, or doors. You can also create zones through the site for safety, security, or productivity purposes. Readers use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to efficiently collect data and connect to your systems.

What kind of data is collected?

The data collected depends on what you need to know per person for your projects. However, the basics include: when each person comes on site in real-time, who do they work for, what is their badge or wearables number, and when was their safety briefing. Additional information can include: training and certifications (such as OSHA 10 and 30), contact information, emergency information, project compliance needs such as gender and ethnicity. Eyrus offers over 50 different attribute fields for you to choose from.

Do you have an open API?

Yes. We also have established integrations with Oracle, Procore and Autodesk

Can you use Eyrus for Daily Reporting?

  • Yes. The Axon solution is for subcontractors and self performing teams to submit their daily reports.
  • The foreman and team leaders can see their own real-time attendance to confirm headcounts and submit their tasks and daily report information straight to you.

Can Eyrus track demographics information (gender, ethnicity, etc.) for the workforce?

Yes, Eyrus has over 50 options of attributes you can select to collect per person such as vaccination status, OSHA requirements, and more. Book a demo now to learn more!

Can you track certifications?

Yes, there’s about 15 different certification options to track. Book a demo now to learn more!

What integrations are there?

  • Procore - data goes into Procore’s Daily manpower log
  • Oracle - upload your “resource-loaded” schedule to Eyrus for schedule comparisons
  • Autodesk - add Eyrus to your BIM 360 Docs

Mobile Solutions

What if my project team, subcontractors and others, won’t download the Eyrus App?

Eyrus offers text-based check in options where workers scan a QR code with their phone but don’t have to download the app.

What types of readers do I need if I am using a Mobile Phone Badge?

Project teams can use either NFC posters where workers scan the poster with their phone, or they can use native location services on a phone to automatically check people in once inside a defined project geofence.

How accurate is a geofence if I am using GPS or Location Services?

It depends on the phone manufacturer and cellular carrier of the phone. For most phones, good to assume +/- 30 ft accuracy in the read range.

How many readers will be needed for my site?

If you are using location services or a geofence, no readers are required. If you are using an NFC or text based check in option, the number of check in stations will depend on your site layout and what you are wanting to measure.

What are the minimum requirements for using an IOS or Android Phone?

The Eyrus app is compatible across IOS models running iOS 14 or later and Android devices running Android 9 or later.

Can I use both Mobile phone solutions and NFC or BLE?

Yes, Eyrus is designed to offer flexible badging across the workforce. For example, project management personnel can use mobile phones while the direct labor force might use NFC or BLE.

Passive Data Solutions

What skills are required to set up a BLE Reader?

Readers are plug and play if you have an existing outlet to plug in for power. Otherwise, simple 120V hardwiring would be required to power up a reader. WiFi or cellular connections can be established via a reader configuration.

What if I don’t have power on my site? Can I still use a BLE Reader?

Eyrus offers solar “kits” that can power any BLE reader on site. This includes a full kit of a solar panel, battery and all of the connections.

Can I re-use BLE Badges or Beacons?

Yes, both badges and beacons are reusable and can easily be deactivated from one user profile and then activated against another user profile in Eyrus.

What is the read range of a BLE reader?

Read range is up to 300 ft in diameter based on a line of site to the reader. The range can be reduced based on your project needs.

How many BLE readers will be needed for my site?

It depends on your site layout and what you are trying to measure. Most sites setup readers at entry points and main points of interest on a site

Can I use both BLE and NFC badges?

Yes, Eyrus offers a “combo” badge that is both BLE and NFC. The best use case for this type of Badge is where you use NFC for an incoming turnstile and BLEs for project zones inside the site. Some users can have simple NFC badges while others might use combo badges.

What is the battery life of a BLE Badge or Beacon?

BLE Badges and beacons have a 4-year battery life.

Controlled Site Solutions

What is the battery life of a NFC Badge?

NFC badges don’t have batteries, so their useful life is not limited.

Can I re-use NFC Badges?

Yes, both badges and beacons are reusable and can easily be deactivated from one user profile and then activated against another user profile in Eyrus.

What is the read range of a NFC reader?

Read range is close proximity (within a couple of inches). If you are looking for longer read ranges, you can switch to either a mobile or BLE solution.

How many NFC readers will be needed for my site?

It depends on your site layout and what you are trying to measure. Most sites setup readers at entry points and main points of interest on a site

Can I use both NFC and BLE badges?

Yes, Eyrus offers a “combo” badge that is both BLE and NFC. The best use case for this type of Badge is where you use NFC for an incoming turnstile and BLEs for project zones inside the site. Some users can have simple NFC badges while others might use combo badges.

Do I have to use an NFC Badge or can I use NFC “stickers”?

You can use NFC stickers that can be affixed to either an existing badge or hard hat. We can supply them, or we can confirm what you have will work with Eyrus.
