It’s Women in Construction Week, and we are celebrating the wonderful women of Eyrus. Alex, Maggi, and Mary shared their thoughts on this year’s theme, “Together We Rise”:

Alex McManus, CEO

Construction is an exciting industry, and technology is a powerful force for progress. History has shown that diverse perspectives and ideas drive value across society, markets, and industries. Through both experience and circumstance, I am fortunate to hold a leadership role in construction technology. With a broad background spanning industries where women have been underrepresented, I bring a unique perspective as an engineer, MBA, venture investor, athlete, mother, sister, and wife. I am proud to be part of the construction world and to witness the growing normalization of women’s voices in the industry—something reflected in the perspectives of our sons and daughters. That’s a win for all of us.

Maggi Kyle, Director of Customer Solution

When I joined Eyrus as its first employee 9.5 years ago, I couldn’t have imagined how much the industry—and the role of women within it—would evolve. ‘Together We Rise’ is a testament to the strength, knowledge, and leadership that women bring to construction every day.

Growing up, I never imagined working in the construction industry, or what it might mean to be a woman in construction. However, over the last 6 years working at Eyrus, alongside some amazing women, I have experienced the truth: that women are raising the bar. I am so grateful for Eyrus and all that the construction industry teaches me every day. The women I have the privilege of working with daily, not only from Eyrus, but from our general contractor clients and partner vendors, are smoothing out the complex intricacies of construction, and deepening the truth of this year’s WiC theme, “Together we rise”... and we build incredible things!
